Sakkai(s) in the island - Day 1
After the scrumptious hokkien mee feast, with me being their "tour guide" we headed downtown -> Prangin Mall. Initially i wanted to bring them to Kek Seng Kopitiam to try the ever-so delicious durian ice-cream but by the time we reached town it was already late and the coffee shop would have closed by then. So we just walked around prangin and they did a little shopping there. Coming fr Kl, they were obviously not impressed of the mall but anyhow at least Beads Zone caught their attention. Good for Sukh, she finally got the skirt she wasn't exactly looking for but it's nice on her.Next stop was New Lane! it was already dinner time so where else to go in town other than the famous hawker centre near Sunway Hotel. We ate a lot, well mostly them eating like gluttons, lol. Ordered Lorbak, Satay, Char Koay Kak, Popiah, See Koe Teng and Mata Kucing. i was extremely stuffed after that but apparently i was alone. Those two monkeys were still complaining that they were not quite full yet and wanted more. We walked along Macalister Road and in the end ended up in a bakery shop called Time2Bread. Billy bought bread like he had never seen and tasted them in his whole life before becos he thought they were pretty cheap (below $2 each). our dinner didn't stop at new lane, each of us got ourselves a piece of cake, i got a Mocha cheesecake while both of them had Choc Mud cake. The cakes were so-so only, nothing to shout about.
Too bad i was too tired till i forgot to bring the camera along, no photos...sheessh.
